Exiled from the Supreme Coven, pregnant and in labor, and pursued by witch hunters, Samantha Greene, along with her new husband, Kristofer and her best friend, Linda the High Priestess, are fleeing toward the east coast, getting as far away from the coven and Samantha’s cruel mother as possible.

Fate—be it the Goddess, herself, or The Darkness—has other plans.

With a trove of stolen Witch Lore in the back of their failing VW van on Samhain, Samantha and friends find themselves trapped on the highway while Mother Nature screams in fury. Can Krystal be safely born into the mundane world? Does The Darkness already claim her?

And what’s up with Satan?

A quick-reading Krystal Greene origin story, this short is published in Whimsillusion’s Whimsillusion Project, and it a fast-paced, entertaining read with tons of heart.
